Ambulance Appeal

Transparent Texture

27,380 people
32 villages

around Bangsi Apal in Meghalaya (Assam - Meghalaya border) do not have a single ambulance service.

105 kms

is the distance that they need to travel to get to the nearest hospital in Guwahati (Assam). Without an ambulance, it is extremely risky and dangerous for the villagers in the event of an emergency.

So, in partnership with MJSMF (Missionary Janet Saji Mathew Foundation), we would like to provide an ambulance for the poor villages in the Meghalaya-Assam border.

It will be stationed in Bangsi Apal in Meghalaya and will serve 32 villages with a total population of 27,380 people

The ambulance will also be used as a mobile clinic for free medical camps in villages.

It costs at least 10 lakhs (approx. £10,000) for a Trax Ambulance manufactured by Force Motors (as seen in the prototype pictures above).

For that we need your help.
